Terms and Conditions for participating in the Student Internship Program (“Internship Program) offered by NRG Phoenix Technology India Private Limited (“NRG Phoenix Technology” or “Organization”).

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Internship Program, candidates must:

  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate degree program / Graduate program in a recognized Institution
  • Maintain active student status throughout the internship duration
  • Demonstrate academic standing meeting the Institutional requirements
  • Applicants must provide verifiable proof of Current enrollment via Official institutional registration documents, letter of good standing from academic advisor, most recent transcript, valid student photo ID.

1.Internship Mode & Requirements:

Fully remote/online with no or minimal physical office requirements. Interns must have a fully functional laptop/desktop meeting minimum/latest hardware specifications, latest version of OS & required software, current antivirus protection, stable broadband internet connection, webcam and microphone capability.

2.Voluntary Participation:

Participation is voluntary. No individual is compelled, coerced, or obligated to join, and involvement is based solely on the participant’s own interest, willingness, and discretion.

3.Disclaimer of Responsibility:

NRG Phoenix Technology hereby expressly disclaims any and all responsibility, liability, or obligation for any incidents, injuries, damages, losses, claims, or issues (whether physical, emotional, financial, or otherwise) that may arise during or outside the internship program, whether such incidents occur on the Organization’s premises, at a remote work location, during work-related travel, or during any personal time of the intern.

Scope of Disclaimer:

This disclaimer applies, but is not limited to:

  • Any accidents, injuries, or health-related issues sustained by the intern.
  • Any damage, theft, or loss of personal property belonging to the intern or third parties
  • Any unauthorized actions, misconduct, or negligence by the intern or third parties.
  • Any consequences resulting from the intern’s failure to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or organizational policies.
  • Any incidents occurring during transportation to or from the internship site, work-related travel, or personal activities outside of designated internship hours.

4.Assumption of Risk:

By participating in the internship program, the intern acknowledges and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with their involvement, including those that may arise from the nature of the work, interactions with third parties, or external environments beyond the Organization’s control.

5.No Warranty or Guarantee:

  • The Organization does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of any tasks, assignments, equipment, or locations involved in the internship. The intern agrees that they are solely responsible for their own well-being and compliance with safety protocols.
  • The Organization does not guarantee any specific academic, professional, or personal benefits from participation. Any outcomes, including skill development, networking opportunities, or career advancement, are dependent on the participant’s individual efforts and external factors beyond the Organization’s control.

6.Indemnification:

The intern agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organization, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, lawsuits, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from their participation in the internship program, whether caused by their own actions, omissions, or those of third parties.

7.Nature of the Internship:

This is an unpaid, educational program focused on learning and skill-building.

8.No Employment or Compensation Obligation:

Voluntary participation does not constitute an employer-employee relationship. The Organization is not liable for wages, benefits, or future employment promises.

9.Internship Domains:

Students may work in areas such as Software Development, UI/UX Design, AI, Digital Marketing, QA, and more.

10.Professional Conduct and Expectations:

Interns participating in the Internship Program are expected to always maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, including but not limited to:

  • Demonstrating respect, courtesy, and collegiality toward all team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Adhering to the Organization's dress code and workplace etiquette
  • Maintaining appropriate boundaries in all professional interactions
  • Refraining from any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior

11.Confidentiality & Data Security:

All proprietary, sensitive, or non-public information disclosed to the intern during the Internship program—whether in written, electronic, oral, or any other form—shall be considered Confidential Information. The intern agrees to:

  • Use Confidential Information solely for the purpose of fulfilling Internship Program responsibilities.
  • Not disclose, reproduce, distribute, or share Confidential Information with any third party (including peers, social media, or public forums)

12.Right to Terminate:

NRG Phoenix Technology reserves the exclusive right to terminate an intern’s participation in the Internship Program immediately and without prior notice for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Non-compliance with Program policies, rules, or guidelines.
  • Misconduct, including unethical, unprofessional, or illegal behavior.
  • Violation of confidentiality, intellectual property, or data security agreements.
  • Failure to perform assigned duties or meet expected standards.
  • Absenteeism or tardiness without prior approval or valid justification.
  • Any action that harms or risks harm to the Organization, its employees, clients, or reputation.
  • Immediate Termination for Cause:

    NRG Phoenix Technology may terminate an intern’s participation without warning in cases of:

    • Theft, fraud, or deliberate damage to property.
    • Harassment, discrimination, or workplace violence.
    • Unauthorized disclosure of Confidential Information.
    • Breach of applicable laws or regulations.

13.Certification:

Internship Completion certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the program provided the Interns must:

  • Successfully fulfill all program requirements as above
  • Maintain satisfactory performance throughout the entire program duration
  • Complete and submit all assigned projects/tasks/assignments by specified deadlines
  • Adherent to all organizational policies and code of conduct standards
